Antique restoration in Lincolnshire

Sympathetic repair and conservation for period furniture and clocks, from our workshop in Woodhall Spa. We collect and deliver across Lincolnshire, and take pieces from further afield.

Restored to be used and enjoyed

Good restoration repairs a piece so it can be used for another generation, while keeping its original surfaces, colour and character. You get back a piece that works properly and still looks like itself.

We’ve handled period furniture and clocks for forty years as dealers, so we know what matters on a piece and what to leave alone. If we think something is better left as it is, we’ll say so.

How it works

  1. Send photos or call

Tell us about the piece and send a few photos, or bring it to the workshop. For larger pieces we can visit. There’s no charge for an initial assessment.

  2. Assessment and quote

We’ll explain what we recommend, what’s essential and what’s optional, and give you a no-obligation quote.

  3. The work

We carry out the work using traditional methods and keep you updated. Collection and delivery can be arranged.

Areas we cover

Most work starts with a phone call and a few photos, so distance matters less than you might think. We visit, collect and deliver across Lincolnshire, and take pieces from further afield by arrangement.

Common questions

Will it still look like an antique?

Yes. We keep original surfaces, colour and parts wherever we can, so the piece keeps its age and character. The aim is a piece you can use, not one that looks new.

Can you work on pieces from outside Lincolnshire?

Yes. Most jobs start with photos and a call, wherever you are. We’ll talk through how to get the piece to us.

How long does it take?

It depends on the work and how busy the workshop is. We’ll give you a realistic timescale with the quote.

Tell us about your piece

Send a few photos and a short description of the damage. We’ll tell you what we’d recommend.
